Home Based Business – Why Have a Home Based Business?

Having a home based business is not something you should think about…it is something that you should plan on doing, and the sooner the better.
Face it..If you have been following the economy lately, unless you live on another planet it is almost a given that the almighty dollar is shrinking considerably. This did not just happen in recent months. it has been going on for years! The worst part of it is that food, gas, and utility bills (which affect everyone) are rising the fastest. Forget even about saving for the future and a dream retirement, you are doing good if you are not deeply in debt and are getting by paycheck to paycheck.
My son plays soccer in college. On some of the away games, my wife and I will sometimes drive and take scenic routes. In other words…backroads. In doing so, you run into many of your smaller type towns and communities.
I have noticed that in EVERY town or village I experience, many if not all of their probably once thriving downtown businesses are closed.
I believe the internet and all of the franchise stores and restaurants are responsible.
If you want to compete and make money on the side, getting a part time job is not going to help as what you make is going to be eaten alive by the cost of gas and taxes.
Everything is shifting towards the internet. It is getting to the point that people like you and me are making most of their purchases “on” the internet.
It is apparent that if you want to supplement your income, the cheapest and easiest way to do it is “using” the internet.
Owning and operating a home based business opportunity is imperative as it is one of the few options available to us.
Other reasons for having a home based business opportunity include saving of your time because everything is right there at home for you, not having to buy gas and saving you wear and tear on your vehicle, and look at your customer base…there are over 6.5 billion people on the planet. Although only 1% of these people are using the internet, it is said to be growing by at least 20 thousand people a day.
There are many more reasons to get involved with a home based business opportunity, I have only brought up several of them but, they alone are more than enough.
