I always get emails from people asking me something along the lines of ‘What is the fastest way to make money right now?’ The truth is, anything that gives you quick cash is not likely to be a long-term business. Think paid surveys. Essentially, it is very hard to create a full-time income from this. You have to create a real business to get rich online, and it is going to take time.
Out there in the ‘real’ world, business owners don’t expect profits overnight. They expect profits to come only after a year or more, on average. Yet when people go online, they expect instant results. Yes, the technology is great, but it’s still a business you are building. It takes time to get customers, to build a loyal subscriber base, to build a reputation in your niche market. And all these take time. For me, personally, it took me more than a year to create a full-time income from my Internet business before I was able to give my day job the boot
So what you do you have to do starting today? Right now, you need to stop trying out dozens of different business ventures and just choose one business model to focus on. Whether it’s membership sites, eBay or MLM, go with just one model. And laser-focus on it. If your time and effort is spread out over many businesses, what are your chances of being successful at any one of them? It is much better to focus your time and effort on one business and grow it big.
The truth is, if you want to make the big bucks online for life (not just for the short-term), then it’s going to take time and hard work.
